ChrisRstyle: I clearly haven’t spent as much time as I should at Caruso Caruso — I had absolutely no idea that they carry my favorite Alternative Apparel hoodies! On the corner of Bates and Maple, Backcountry North has officially opened its third location in the state, making brands like Arc’Teryx, The North Face and PrAna, available to all of the Downtown Birmingham shoppers! You HAVE to check it out, they have legitimately everything to look fab for the outdoors!
ChrisRstyle: Last week, it was 80 degrees outside, and let me just tell you I thanked whoever is up there. I have been dying to wear my spring clothes basically since the winter started. I was excited for cold clothes for about the first day, and then realized I missed the warmth and shorts and short sleeves. Here are some great picks for spring!

SamlovesBham: Hey girls, prom season has arrived! I found my dress and shoes, but if you haven’t I suggest shopping around Downtown Birmingham. I spotted a lot of gorgeous dresses and shoes (and who would miss an opportunity for new shoes?). Cinderella’s Attic (420 E. Frank) has some fantastic vintage dresses and shoes. If you are a serious shoe lover you HAVE to check out the shoes at Tender (271 W. Maple) — a little on the pricey side, but soooo gorgeous!
ChrisRstyle: Like everyone else in our area, I was cruelly taunted by the warm weather we HAD been having these past weeks. I was so excited I decided to go shopping for a perfect summer shoe that would match everything in my wardrobe for my upcoming trip to California! I decided Revive would be an extremely appropriate decision considering shoes are their specialty. Low and behold, I found my perfect pair: low tops by Comme des Garcons for Converse. My experience was flawless, the service was superb, and I got them 20 dollars cheaper than they are priced at on Opening Ceremony’s website. Perfection? I think yes.
Woke up this morning, went outside, and BAM, it was SO NICE OUTSIDE! Good weather means new clothes (yesssss), and you can find tons of cute clothes in Downtown Birmingham!!

ChrisRstyle: Against my better judgment, last week I began a challenge with my mom to do yoga everyday for 30 days. Horrible. I love yoga, but after three days, my body had gotten the point. The Yoga Room across from the Townsend, where my mom and I practice, carries awesome shirts, which I have become obsessed with. A portion of the proceeds go to the Hutzel Women’s Hospital at the DMC. So it is a win-win purchase!

ChrisRstyle: Theory has arrived at Revive! This is the most exciting news EVER, well, almost. The most important thing about this is that I will no longer have to drive all the way to Saks to get my Theory fix; I can cut my travel time from 10 minutes, to about 10 seconds.
