2013 Jewelers of Birmingham Scholarship Competition
It's spring again, and that means it's time for the Annual Jewelers of Birmingham High School Jewelry Competition. Every year since 2006, area high school juniors and seniors are invited to enter their original jewelry creations in order to compete for recognition and monetary awards. The winners of this year's competition will receive $500, $250, and $100 respectively. All student work will be on display at Jewelers of Birmingham member stores from April 13th through April 27th, and the public will be able to vote for their favorite piece in each store. The winner of the “People's Choice Award” will win special prizes donated from area merchants.
Jewelers of Birmingham is an organization of jewelers within Birmingham's Principal Shopping District dedicated to promoting the Jewelry Arts in our community.
Students who want to submit work should contact their teacher. Entries are due by March 25th.
